Water is a key component in determining the quality of our lives. It is more important than oil and gold - and in some areas they learn at an early age the importance of saving and caring for their supply. This photo is taken in Pokhara, in Nepal. It is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and 200km west of The Kathmandu valley. This little girl had her chores, carrying water for the family, she stands in our memory as the reminder of water conservation and how we take resources for granted in our part of the world. It would help her, and many others like her, if you would reduce your resource usage. .
