The Taos Hippie ~
There is actually a book called
Scrapbook of a Taos Hippie: Tribal Tales from the Heart of a Cultural Revolution .
We are not sure if he has any connection with it, but we found him in Taos and he did look a little bit like a hippie to us.....

After hiking in the Himalayas we return to a tiny village in Nepal, and there he was; on the bus. Looking at us. With these old, wise eyes. Not a smile, just looking; and his eyes made us think; who are we – that travel far and wide to hike, just for the joy of it.
